Rules of the forum

As a member of the Light Conversations forums you agree to the following terms of use:

1. You act in an adult manner at ALL times.
2. You leave any baggage at the door, this includes issues and arguments from other forums or newsgroups.
3. As a forum member, you are a guest on the site, behave as you would as a guest in someone's house.
4. You do not post obscene material of ANY nature. Consider before posting if others may find it obscene even if you don’t.
5. You do not take threads off topic.
6. You do not have personal conversations in threads, when they should be by private message.
7. You post in the correct forum for your topic at all times.
8. Light swearing will be tolerated, but obscene words will be edited without warning or explanation.
9. You respect other members at all times. Treat them as you would wish to be treated yourself.
10. You will not discriminate against any other member for ANY reason at all.
11. If you give out your login and pass, or allow any non-member to view the site, then you may be removed immediately and banned for life.
12. Negative comments about other forums will not be tolerated.
13. Light Conversations is about participation, if, after you have been activated for all the forums, you do not post or join in for a period of 6 months, you may be deactivated and have to nominate yourself again.

A moderator or admin can at any time remove any of your posts WITHOUT WARNING OR EXPLANTION, for whatever reason they see fit.

This forum will not be a ‘police state’, but neither is it a democracy, breaking of the rules, or disregard for others will not be tolerated.

If you break the rules you can be banned at any point, by either a mod or admin, there are no grounds for appeal, their decision is final and conversation will not be entered in to.

These rules may seem harsh, and may be added too at any point, but they are here to prevent past mistakes from repeating themselves.
